By using Chat Likes you accept these terms. They are written in plain words on purpose.
1. The service
Chat Likes is a browser extension, with a server, that lets people like messages in Twitch and YouTube live chats and shows the most liked ones. It is published by Nathan Raffy (Micro-entrepreneur (entreprise individuelle)), SIRET 920 668 118 00028, 21 rue de l'Autan, 31320 Péchabou, France, chatlike.co@gmail.com.
2. Not affiliated
Chat Likes is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twitch, YouTube, Google, 7TV, BetterTTV or FrankerFaceZ. Their own terms apply to their services, and a change on their side can break or limit the extension.
3. Accounts
You can like without an account. An account (Twitch and/or Google sign-in) is needed to unlock or wear paid themes. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. You can delete your account at any time by writing to chatlike.co@gmail.com.
4. Themes
Free themes are free. Paid themes are digital content: a licence to use the theme for personal purposes, tied to your account, not transferable or resellable. Unlock for me lets you wear it on every channel, for yourself only. Unlock for my channel shows it to everyone who watches your Twitch chat with the extension, and can only be bought by the channel's owner (the Twitch account whose login is the channel's name). A bundle (such as Cat or Dog) includes everything it shows in the store, animations included.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the store and on the payment page. Payment is processed by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record: it collects the payment and the applicable taxes, issues the receipt, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. We never see your card number.
6. Delivery and right of withdrawal
A theme is delivered immediately after payment. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for most purchases, but for digital content delivered immediately you agree, when you pay, to its immediate delivery and acknowledge that you then lose that right. The payment page asks for this agreement.
7. Refunds
Beyond your legal rights, if a theme does not work as described, write to chatlike.co@gmail.com within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it. A refunded theme is removed from your account (or your channel).
8. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service: no bots or scripts to inflate likes, no attempts to bypass limits, no attacks, no use to harass people. We may limit or suspend what harms the service or other people.
9. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the service running but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. The legal guarantees that consumers have by law are not affected by these terms. Within what the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, nor for what depends on Twitch, YouTube or other third parties.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; if the change matters we will say so, and a change never reduces what you already paid for.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without removing the protection that the law of your country gives you as a consumer. Before going to court you can contact us. As a consumer you may also use a consumer mediator: [to be completed: LEGAL_MEDIATOR].
